This episode features a conversation between Dr. Erwin Warkentin and I on the meaning of legacy. We discuss how somethings you do or people do are like DNA and they go into the fabric of our very existence. We talk about our families and how people try to leave things in stone on buildings and even then, everything we do is purely ephemeral.
I also feature a piece of writing titled “The things we leave behind” which is about the day I found out my father passed away.
Thanks to Dr. Warkentin for the conversation which unfortunately cuts short: the dangers of recording in a car in Lapland!
